At Cincinnati School of Music, we provide Mason, Montgomery and Anderson the best strings lessons of all ages. We offer violin, viola, and cello instruction as a weekly 30, 45, or 60 minute private lesson for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Our expert music teachers use a combination of Suzuki, Sassmanshaus, and other traditional methods. While our music instructors are classically trained, they can also help you learn to play pieces in the fiddle, and Celtic styles. If you want to augment your child's school orchestra training, private music lessons are crucial to further develop the specific skills needed to rise above the crowd. Our Mason, Montgomery, and Anderson music teachers work with you to develop a comprehensive roadmap to success. All violin and viola lessons focus on developing good posture, holding position, intonation, bow control and technique, sound production, scales, and more. Students are encouraged to bring any recordings of their favorite pieces, or to let their teacher know what they might want to learn to play. Our professional music instructors specialize in developing students to play not only solo music, but also better prepare them for school orchestra auditions.
performance opportunities
All students at the Cincinnati School of Music have the opportunity to perform in student recitals held multiple times per year. These performances give students a chance to display the great progress they’ve made in their violin music lessons.
