CINCINNATI SCHOOL OF MUSIC IS HIRING! JOIN US & LOVE YOUR JOB!
Cincinnati School of Music is growing and is looking to fill two new positions! We are seeking friendly people who have a strong ability to complete detailed work, are eager to learn, and are excited to grow with our family-owned and operated company and team of amazing, supportive, and fun administrative/managerial staff. We opened our first location in Montgomery in 2012, our second location in Mason in 2016, our third location in Anderson in 2017. In 2018 we expanded our Mason location to meet growing demand. Now, we are seeking strong leaders for our quickly growing company, and we take great pride in investing in each team member as they contribute to our vision, bringing their own vision and unique strengths to the team.
Cincinnati School of Music is a family owned company, established by a husband and wife team with a passion for music and community. The couple first started what is now the Cincinnati School of Music in 2009. The Backers saw the wealth of musical talent in Cincinnati and wanted to create a professional educational space and community where professional musicians could share their talents and passions by teaching music to students of all ages and abilities in the community. In 2012 they opened their first commercial location. Within that first year of opening, CSM outgrew its first space and expanded into a larger facility, just one month before the couple welcomed their first child into the world! From there, the couple worked many "all-nighters" to adapt and meet CSM’s growing demand as enrollment continued to grow. They amped up their talent recruitment to hire more top-rate music teachers and eventually opened additional music school locations in Cincinnati.
As CSM has grown, it has been named one of Ohio's 50 Best Workplaces two years in a row, in addition to being voted "Best Music Instruction" in Cincy Magazine four years in a row. In 2016, the company was honored to be recognized as "The Face of Music Instruction" in Cincinnati Magazine, and CSM looks forward to continuing to meet and exceed our community's expectations! Since 2012, CSM has opened three music schools, two of which have been expanded to larger facilities since opening, and all while the owners were simultaneously expanding their own family, now with three young children!
Today, the Cincinnati School of Music is now the largest music school in Cincinnati and has grown to over 1,200 weekly private students between our three locations. CSM is an energetic, innovative music school with a growing, friendly community of over 55 highly-qualified instructors and four other administrative/management staff. CSM’s office is extremely organized and the admin team handles all student recruiting and promotion, registration, scheduling, make-up lessons, billing, policies, special projects, recitals, and much more. From the beginning, CSM’s focus has been on fostering a sense of community and teamwork among our staff, with an emphasis on the quality of education offered to students. An essential part of CSM that allows the community to enjoy such a high level of music education is the environment, which is welcoming, energetic, fast-paced, fun, and supportive.
